Join us for a Special Book Club Evening: A Frome Boyhood with Caroline Greenman

Neil Crump, Founder of Asterion & Co. discussing the special book club evening where Caroline Greenman will present her grandfather’s memoir of his childhood.

An Edwardian childhood in Frome. What was it like growing up in Somerset in the early 1900s? What did the streets look like, what did people do for work, and how did everyday life unfold?

On Tuesday 7 July we're hosting a special Asterion & Co. Book Club evening at The Old Vicarage in Leigh-on-Mendip, where we'll be joined by Caroline Greenman to explore A Frome Boyhood, the remarkable memoir written by her grandfather, Arthur Crocker.

Born in 1903, the son of a Frome policeman, Arthur recorded a vivid account of Edwardian life in the town. Caroline researched his story, unearthed photographs and archive material, and helped bring her grandfather’s memoir to publication.

This is a free event and everyone is welcome.

Spaces are limited and registration is required.
